ABOUT
Operation Set Sail honors and empowers veterans through sailing. We focus on empowering our veterans that may have had a tough run at life with something as simple as re-acclimating back to civilian life while having a hard time finding a good job. But we welcome all veterans for serving our country.

Our flagship program includes teaching veterans how to sail and even race sailboats competitively at the Indianapolis Sailing Club on Geist.

We support other veteran organizations such as Operation JobReadyVets.org by teaching their veterans how to sail therapeutically and race sailboats.
We also support other non profits such as the Nantucket HolidaysforHeroes.com and Figawi Charities (see figawi.com) by hosting their veteran heroes for free each every Memorial Day weekend.
We have also taken veterans on a challenging week long sailing journey from Newport, RI to Cape Cod, then sailboat racing from Cape Cod to Nantucket on the Memorial Day weekend in Figawi.com which is the East Coast's most popular sailboat racing weekends, and eventually return to Newport, RI.
We also staunchly back the 22kill.com mission which includes reducing veteran suicide which has peaked at about 22 veterans each day which is unacceptable.

Similar to the above, our vision includes expanding our programs to our local communities honoring and empowering local heroes, law enforcement, firemen, emergency response, and our disabled by partnering with local governments.

Operation Set Sail Incorporated is is a 501(c) where 100% of all donations is dedicated to teaching veterans how to sail therapeutically, sailboat race and supporting other veteran non profit organizations.
