Operation Set Sail honors and empowers veterans through sailing. Our first priority is to prevent veteran suicide, second is to help vets cope with PTSD, third is financial difficulties and fourth is re-acclimating back to civilian life.

Our programs includes teaching veterans how to sail and even race sailboats competitively at the Indianapolis Sailing Club on Geist.

We support other veteran organizations such as Operation JobReadyVets.org by teaching their veterans how to sail therapeutically and race sailboats.

Operation Set Sail Incorporated is is a 501(c) 3 where 100% of any donations are dedicated to teaching veterans how to sail therapeutically, sailboat race and supporting other veteran non profit organizations.

Operation set sail also annually honors an fallen veteran hero usually the third week in September.

This year we honored Marine Pfc. Deryk L. Hallal and their family on 9-21-19 that included sailing, a ceremony and a freedom concert benefit with Jai Baker
